West Brews Winter Warmer lands at 10% and has spent 3 months in cask. The appearance is really with the beer, which has a nice deep amber color. Small, persistent creamy white head .
The aroma is sweet, malty, vinous, fat caramel, vanilla and faint chocolate. The taste is delicious, quite sweet (but not too much), caramel, oak. There is a little licorice in the bottom, which expands a little as it warms. It may end up being just a touch too vinous perhaps, but the rather dry finish and creamy feel almost saves it.

Rindby 13/7 2020. 37,5 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Simple label design with the logo and the little lighthouse, info about ABV, batch number and so forth. Brown stripe running horizontally with the name of the beer.
Pours murky, dirty light brown with a bubbly white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a medium strong sweet odor of caramel, cough drops and licorice. Sweet raisins and figs. Soda like sweetness. Healthy dose of alcohol peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, prickling and lively texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness, light saltiness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light salty touch. Finish is a bit boozy.
Damn Ugly but with a good intensity and a salty touch.
