Copenhagen 20/12 2021. 33 cl bottle from Vin de Table, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. A quite old bottle produced back in 2019. Simple off-white label with the name of beer and brewery in black and the ABV in red.
Comes charging out of the bottle the moment I lift the cap leaving a wet emergency situation on my kitchen table. Ends up being a quite small sample in the glass
Pours opaque, murky amber with a big white head. Settles as a thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet malty scent mingling with yeasty and funky notes. Caramel and lightly toasted malts. Humid cellar and sour cheese.
Medium strong carbonation. medium thick, oily , soft yet tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and a bit thin. Finish is semi-dry.
Quite irritating with the beer explosion in my kitchen but a decent brew with a nice touch of Brett.
