Copenhagen 13/12 2019. 75 cl bottle from Ping Vin, Vestergade, Køge. Simple label with a lot of text. Mostly advertising and recommendations of what to eat while drinking the beer (in this case salads and fish).
Pours unclear golden yellow with a small white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense, citric sour with hints of lemonade. Citrus, lime. Lightly sugary orange lemonade. Yeasty, farty odor in the background.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily and lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed and balanced byba slightly more moderate, citric sourness. Aftertaste is sourish with a sweet lemonade-ish undercurrent. Semi-dry finish.
Not a bad take on a kölch-style beer. A bit thin - but that goes with the style, I suppose.
