The colour is copper; the pale beige foam forms a thin, airy head. Some lacing does occur.
The smell is malt with notes of paper pulp and bitter hops.
The taste is gentle with notes of dry malts, bitter hops and some tropical fruits. The bitterness fades into an almost watery flavour. In the aftertaste, the bitterness comes back with a surprising touch of Sunday steak.
The carbonation is very gentle, but the beer manages in some way to be very refreshing in spite of that. Overall, a nice bitter that was easy to drink.
