Pours a deep amber colour with an off-white head. Very creamy and gassy.
Aromas of molasses, buttery hints, blackcurrant and strawberry were apparent.
Taste was amazing. Very rich and dry, a very burned caramel hit, with an almost spicy peppery and hoppy end.
However, after half a pint or so, the richness and gassiness get to you - it becomes somewhat difficult to finish. Certainly not a session status beer, but a great one to try on its own.
