Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Massive lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of dark malts mingling with chili fruit and a bit of alcohol. Roasted dark malts, brown sugar and red chili pepper. Restrained touch of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth texture. Silken.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a searing chili burn. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry and yet mouth water producing due to the capsicum.
You can drink a boozy winter warmer in order to get your Body warmth back. Or you can do it with chili.
