Copenhagen 5/5 2021. 33 cl bottle from Irma, Smedetoften, Kbh. NV. The label looks like an abstract painting from the seventies named Under a Purple Sun.
Pours opaque, hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, fruity odor mingling with a malty scent and light citric notes. Sweet malts, cardboard and bread. Peach and pear. A bit of citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a little thin. Finish is watery.
Refreshing but a little bit watery and bland.
