Scottich Lady Ella is inspired by Scottish Ales with a soft body and a subtle warmth from the alcohol, exactly as one would expect the woman in the Scottish Highlands to have chosen?

Copenhagen 18/8 2022. 50 cl bottle from Private Selection, Rødovre Centrum, Rødovre. Austrian-style symbolist label with a lady in profile.
Pours unclear, golden amber with a big white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with sugary fumes. Caramel and toffee. Brown sugar. Dark fruits saturated in alcohol. Stuffy sweet scent.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick. oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a rough bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Quite on the sweet side for a Scottish Ale - but not without a rough bitter charm.
