Copenhagen 29/5 2017. 50 cl bottle from Spar in Karrebæksminde. What look like a carving of a Hop on the label - which is quite strange as they try to explain this brew excellent malty character in the teaser on the label.
Pours hazy orange light brown with slightly off-white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is strong and of roasted malts with a hint of smoke, coffee and caramel.
Light carbonation and medium thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with sweet finish.
Fine aroma - but rather watery flavor. And it does not do the hop on the label full justice.
