Copper Ale is a top-fermented pale ale type.
The color of the beer ranges from amber gold to copper with a rich head. Brewed with pale ale malt, muncher malt and a little caramel malt. A light, fresh beer with a good hop aroma, which gives a good mouthfeel. The aftertaste is light to pleasantly bitter.
The beer is unfiltered, so there may be sediment.
A real summer beer.

Copenhagen 14/6 2017. 50 cl bottle from Spar in Karrebæksminde. Copper orange label with Næstved Brewery's symbol which resembles a stylized hop.
Pours copper orange with tight white head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma has caramel sweetness which is almost overpowered by dry bitter lightly roasted notes.
Light carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor has a medium sweet malt base. It is followed by distinct dry bitterness. Aftertaste is quite bitter.
Quite bitter and quite English in the taste. Nice take on a English Pale Ale/Bitter.
