Copenhagen 5/7 2017. 50 cl bottle from Spar in Karrebæksminde. As "Havn - Klassisk Havnebajer". Quite confusing as one of the mottos on the label is "Everything but Classic" and they call it a "Bock-type". But here goes.
Pours hazy amber with a white head. Settles as thin patch of foam with a rim alongside the side of the glass. No Lacing.
Aroma has some caramel sweetness, roasted malts and light citrus notes.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is sweet and caramelly. Only very moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet caramel.
They might call it a Bock-type but to me it tastes more like a Wiener. It’s not terrible or anything - except for the confusing label - but not terrible interesting either.
