I had a 500 ml bottle of this 4.4% ale on 18.07.08 on a trip to the Lake District, Cumbria. Brewed by a small local brewery in Ambleside.
It poured a very cloudy yellow amber brew with little or no head. Any head that first appeared soon disappeared! The bottle was well "in date".
Overall this beer was not up to much. I wanted to enjoy it, but unfortunately the taste was just too bitter, but not in a bitter hops way. I struggled with this one, but might give it another try on a future occasion.
