Agribirrificio Maso Alto "Santa Maria Craft Pub - Wittgenstein"
on tap at the Santa Maria Craft Pub, Verona on 27 November 2025
Look: A mostly clear golden body is capped by a bright white head of foam that delivers very good head retention and lacing.
Smell: Malty, grainy and grassy, and lightly peppery-spicy.
Taste: The graininess and peppery qualities found in the aroma remain with the addition of some fruitiness that's like lemon and orange. It's moderately bitter with a woody and peppery-spicy dry finish - there's clearly a combination of coriander seed and yeast at work here.
Feel: Medium-light in body and crisp.
Overall: This is a delicate but still complex witbier that's well worth trying. You could either have it by yourself and focus on its nuances, or just toss it back with friends and enjoy it equally as it's so easy to drink.
