Opalsøen is a tasty Vienna with a deep amber color and a light head of foam.
The taste is full and fresh with balanced malt sweetness and a light hoppy aftertaste.
The beer is naturally brewed in a Danish brewery from only the best raw materials. The beer is bottom fermented and gently filtered.
BornholmerØL was developed in cheerful company with Bornholm craft brewers.

Copenhagen 17/6 2018. 50 cl bottle from VinBørsen, Nordre Frihavnsgade, Kbh Ø. Drawing of deep, brown hole in the ground which does not look much like an Opal lake.
Pours slightly hazy amber with a red hue. Small off-white head. Settles as a thin - to the point of transparency - layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet, light and predictable. Light odor of caramel, brown sugar and stuffy refrigerator.
Medium strong carbonation and thin, watery texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly weaker bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish but with noticeable bitterness with hints of burnt plastic. Lingering. Semi-dry finish.
A Vienna with a nice touch of bitterness. Drinkable if you ignore the burnt plastic.
