Hoppy Ambear; our 2nd beer in line. Our reason for brewing this one is to present a beer that can easily be enjoyed when the chillier days hits us (winter is coming!). It's a full, rounded beer packed with a lot of aromas from the unconventional Motueka hop. Although the combination of malts and the crazy mix of hops will make it a treat outside the winter season as well… it´s the perfect blend to spice up the darker days we are headed towards… Stay “high on hops”.

Copenhagen 29/1 2020. 50 cl bottle from Ølhandleren in Give (Web-shop). Brown label with stylized drawing of a Bears head.
Pours unclear dark amber with a small white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly malty and sweet with a bitter sourish twist. Sweet karamel, toffee. Lightly metallic alcohol. Sourish, bitter notes. A bit grainy.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a strong, slightly harsh bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for quite a while. Finish is dry.
A bit unbalanced with a strong, reckless bitterness. And a bit harsh. But if you like ’em bitter....
