During the 18th century the British empire tried to ship ‘normal’ beers to their colony in India by sea, but repeatedly failed, given the fact, that the beer couldn't survive such long trips. That was until an experimental brewer by the name, Hodgson, created an unusually high hopped beer. This type of beer, because of its large amount of hops, were able to stay fresh all the way to India, and later became known as the Indian Pale Ale (IPA).

Copenhagen 12/4 2019. 50 cl bottle from Ølhandleren in Give (web-shop). Drawing of what looks like a strange version of a Dinosaur skeleton on the label. A bit mechanical and with what looks like a lady’s shoes for Ears.
Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Chunks of yeast whirling an about. Head Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, fruity with fermented berries with lighter citric odor. Blackcurrants, gooseberries. Mingling with Citrus, Grape fruit.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a citric twist. Lingers for a while.
If you can live with a solid layer of yeast this is nice bitter IPA with some fruity sweetness involved.
