Sampled at FAB Fest, Miami Beach, last weekend (notes taken).
Deep brown in colour, little head (it was on gravity dispense stright from the cask). Good, malty, slightly vinous, complex, aroma. Flavour is a varied but well-balanced mix of malt, hops, caramel, and roast notes, very satisfying. A nice, slightly warming finish was experienced. Very drinkable; voted 3rd out of 37 casks at the festival by the tasting panel.
An excellent winter warmer that was in peak condition despite travelling 4000 miles in the cask.
