Katowice 5/10 2019. 20 cl (two tasters) on tap at Browar Mariacki Brewery & Restaurant
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense. Sweet malts, fruitiness with citric overtones. Caramel, lightly roasted malts. Mango and peach. Citrus and Grape fruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Dry finish.
Solid and well-balanced IPA without bringing anybody out of their comfort zone.
