Sestri Levante 19/7 2024. 33 cl bottle from Gulliver, Via Nazionale, Sestri Levante. Idyllic photo of a Fortress surrounded by forest on the label.
Pours slightly unclear pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet smell of ripe Stone fruits mingling with a floral scent. Light citric notes. Peach and Apricot. Elderflower. Tart citrus.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is pleasntly sweet. Lingers for a bit. Finish is soft and fruity.
Indeed a Summer Ale.
