La Rossa Tigullio Santa Rita beer is brewed from the purest springs in the Graveglia Valley, in the province of Genoa. Statale is a small hamlet in the municipality of Ne, where the Santa Rita water bottling plant, the most popular among Genoese households from the 1960s to the 1990s, was historically located.
La Rossa Santa Rita is a bottom-fermented craft beer, copper-colored and extremely clear. Its notes of caramel, toffee, and even bread crust are unique.
The sweet and bitter aroma is balanced, giving this fine-grained beer an easy drink, sweet yet very cloying. Its hazelnut and toasted bread aftertaste is unmissable.

Sestri Levante 18/7 2024. 33 cl bottle from Cusina Ligure. Red label in a modernistic sixties style with a Modern building complex with mountains in the background.
Pours unclear, golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a scent toasted bread with jam. Caramel and toffee. Orange marmelade.
Light strong carbonation. Thin, watery, soft and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is caramel-ish.
Pleasurable Red Ale.
