Sunset Boulevard DDH Nelson
Sparkle
A beer from the "Sunset Boulevard DDH" series, which showcases different hops in a single hop.
Very generously loaded with Nelson Sauvin hops (18g/L!), it reveals an intense and complex aroma, both fruity (Sauvignon blanc, gooseberry, tropical fruits) and vegetal.
Sparkle: The Quiberon (Brittany) brewery is not lacking in ambition. Its stated objective: to brew the best IPAs and rise to the level of European heavyweights. Limited production, limited distribution.

Copenhagen 26/10 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Frb. F. Metallic can with a green and yellow shining little label declaring the name of the beer and brand.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a small, bubbly white head. Settles as a thin and patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with a distinct tart and sour scent of citrus fruit and berries. Sweet peach and pineapple. Tart gooseberries and citrus,
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is tart like a sour white wine. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
Tart NEIPA with a touch of tart white wine.
