L- Mid amber, with very slight haze, low visible carbonation in glass, quickly clears to lacing
S- Mild, a hint of caramel
T- Fresh, probably somewhat lighter than I'm used to from bottles of filtered Pride. Dry hops come in at the end.
M- Refreshing, and could easily be a session beer. At 4.1% and no single aspect to hammer the taste-buds I expect I could chug this for a few hours and barely notice.
O- I'm not sure what the aim of this curiosity is. Marketing a 'premium' version of their classic in a pretty can to target a demographic to whom that is a draw? To offer what seems a somewhat lighter (flavour) variant in lighter weight packaging in time for summer? The claim that it is 'unfiltered' is also debatable; as it's only *really* minimally cloudy. Well, I'm glad I tried it, but see no reason why I would choose this again over the original in pint bottles.

Contemporary version of Fuller’s classic London Pride presented in a can and intended to be drunk cold.
L: Hazy, light amber colour with a thin head. Looks pretty good actually.
S: Hints of toffee but very light.
T: Taste profile is very flat and slightly metallic at first but the malt profile starts to emerge as the beer warms.
F: Moderate bitterness, light body.
O: On first taste this is pretty uninspiring. It comes over as a marketing exercise: put it in a cool-looking can; leave it unfiltered; dry hop a little but not enough to notice; suggest serving cold. This is a shame because Fuller’s should be capable of producing top quality ‘craft-ish’ brews. The original London Pride is much better than this.

Can. Murky amber. Thin head.
Aroma of caramel and grassy hops. Earthy.
Taste of doughy bread. Noticeably pronounced hop bitterness. Rather rustic.
Quite highly carbonated. Medium body.
Very unlike the original which I far prefer. Is this this really just an unfiltered version of LP?
I'll try and come back to this one to re-evaluate at another time.
