Bottle conditioned. Very dark brown. Thick and frothy tan head which dissipates easily.
Rich malty aroma. Alcohol is apparent.
Toasted brown bread to taste. Dark autumn fruit. Sweet.
Full in body. Low carbonation.
Very satisfying.

L- Very dark chestnut, clear, 3mm pale tan head swiftly clearing.
S- Malty rich, deep roasty notes, almost a scent of deep baked fruits.
T- Follows the smell, roasty-toasty, deep and rich, towards slightly sweet - stewed prunes? Into winter-warmer territory.
M- Rich, satisfying, one to take a bit slower than usual.
O- Certainly a rewarding depth of flavour here, though a little on the sweeter side than I'm used to.
Bought as part of a 'Fullers & Friends' 6 bottle multi-pack box from Waitrose.
