Cask. No sparkler. Light amber orange with an off white head.
A sweet, slightly orange smell with earthy notes reminiscent of Autumn hedgerow fruits.
Tastes slightly woody with hints of citrus along with digestive biscuit. Fuller's marmalade yeast shows up.
Soft carbonation. Light to medium body.
Good if somewhat forgettable.
Bottle conditioned at 5.2%ABV - Less aroma but with a sprightly carbonation. A bit of diacetyl and dough.
An inferior replacement for Bengal Lancer.
