For Vintage Ale 2018 we’ve stayed close to home; all of our ingredients have been sourced from the UK. Tropical, citrus and apricot flavours take centre stage, delivered by Ernest and Olicana hops. Pale ale malt from the finest Maris Otter barley combines with Crystal malt to give the beer a rich biscuit sweetness. As with every Vintage Ale, the flavours of this beer will develop for many years to come, like a fine wine or whisky

Copenhagen 27/3 2019. 50 cl bottle from Bilka, Fields, Kbh S. The usual Vintage package with a noble, red box and an expensive looking label saying "Vintage, Limited Edition" and has a number printed on it to underline the exclusivity.
Pours slightly unclear amber with big yellowish head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is sweetish and malty with a sour bitter odor rummaging in the background. Malty caramel aroma, sweet biscuit, sherry. Fruity, tart notes.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft texture.
Flavor has strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a strong presence of alcohol. Boozy finish.
Nice winter drink.
