To mark the 50th anniversary of famous British malt variety Maris Otter, we've brewed our 19th vintage ale with all British ingredients. Home-grown Target, Northdown, Challenger and Goldings hops work with the floor-malted Maris Otter to create a well-rounded beer that's truly the best of British.

Copenhagen 7/3 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. In a fine bordeaux box with fake signature from the Head Brewer and a number so I can enjoy being number 887 to enjoy this beer.
Pours clear amber with yellowish head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam.
Aroma is fairly intense. Caramel, toffee, sherry, brown sugar, alcohol and some Goldings hops coming through.
Surprisingly strong carbonation slightly thick palate.
Flavor is hevay sweet. Followed by more sweetness ending in an orgy of toffee and alcohol.
Fine muscular English Toffee brew.
