L: hazy orange with thick bubbly head, light carbonation in body.
A: citrus and pine.
F: light and easy drinking, slightly hoppy, carbonated, and oily.
T: citrus and pine but not strong enough. It's bitter but not good bitter more like flat bitter with carbonation. Lemony hop oil flavor with an oak flavor that kind've ruins the whole taste.
O: would not buy again. Expected better. Unbalanced beer.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours dark orange red with a tiny head. Smells of small amounts of citrus and floral hops. Tastes of citrus hops with really nice grain backbone. Beer is light bodied and very easy drinking with a good level of carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Color is light yellow with frothy white cap which it retains and good lacing.

Aroma is bready malt and rich, spicy hops with a lingering floral citrus scent.

Taste is hop forward with malt standing in the background but not out of sight. I get grapefruit and bitter lemon as the citrus influence which sing a little louder in the finish/aftertaste.

Medium texture.

Overall it's a good effort. They were shooting for a noticeable but lighter hop presence and they hit the mark. Hops are undoubtedly the star of the show but malt plays a strong supporting role. Brewer says five varieties of hops are used so there's something for everybody but my palate is not attuned enough to separate them out. There are enough of them alright all the way to the aftertaste which is mildly and pleasantly bitter.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a copper color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of piney hops, light malts. Taste is pine, grains, a hint of citrus. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, not bad, but somehow the flavors just don't seem to mesh properly.

I have been wanting to try this all summer and what a disappointment! Don't even think I will drink the other one that came in the 12! GROSS

Part of a Fall Sampler 12-pack, three bottles of four different beers. Poured in to a pub glass.

Pours a deep gold color, clear with a thin foamy white head.

Smell is floral and fruity. Roses and bitter lemons.

Taste is a lot like the smell, but with a sweet bread presence. Well balanced with more of a lemon and dandelion bitterness than pine.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly cloying.

Overall a nice hopped up but balanced lager. A good fall brew but it would be good in the summer as well.

Pours a copper color with honey edges and just about a finger of head. The nose is both bready and hoppy. The flavor follows the nose; the malt backbone is strong while the hop bitterness on the finish is equally potent.

This is more reminiscent of a hoppy amber lager than an IPL, however, I am NOT complaining because it is delicious.

A clear amber with lots of bubbles rising. A finger+ of foamy, off white head that lingers. Nice lacing down the glass. The aroma is mostly citrus...grapefruit/oranges, lightly toasted bread crust, and caramel malt. Very mild dank quality, and mild pine. I'm getting just a bit of a sulfur note. Flavor has, again, citrus fruits, a little dankness and very mild pine. Body is medium and carbonation feels just on the lighter side. A little sticky up front and dry on the finish. The grapefruit flavor comes through nicely. Mild, building bitterness overall. Just that minor sulfur note in the nose, but not really the flavor.
