This is a contract-brewed offering that is available on the Gunflint Trail, specifically at the Gunflint Lodge.
A - Poured a golden-amber color with a foamy, off-white head. It left a little lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of grains, floral notes, and some citrus.
T - It has a nice caramel maltiness with a hint of hop spice. There is a grain/barley flavor, too.
M - It was crisp and sharp. A light to medium-bodied beer.
D - This is an okay ale. There is a limited variety of beer options on the Gunflint Trail, but this is an okay option every Christmas when I travel up there.
