This APA features fresh citrus aromas and bold notes of American hops. This top-fermented, unfiltered and unpasteurized craft beer has an amber color and a fine, persistent head. On the palate, it initially has a sweet and fruity flavor that evolves into a moderate bitterness.

Genova 26/7 2024. 33 cl bottle from Enoteca Bonanni, Via San Vincenzio, Genova. Chunky glass bottle with a red label with the name and style of the beer in white letters. Fine little logo with a Lion on a bike in gold.
Pours unclear pale yellow with a mid-sized, fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as paper thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and fruity odor mingling with a sharp scent of citrus fruit. Sweet pale malts, ripe peach and a bit of blood orange. Lemon and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Fine tart and dry specimen.
