NZ Hopfenweissen pohjana on baijerilaistyylinen vehnäolut, mutta Hagströmin versio on tavallista tuhdimmin humaloitu, sekä aromien että jälkimaun katkeruuden suhteen. Katkerohumala on Columbus (CTZ), aromihumalina uusiseelantilaiset Riwaka ja Motueka. Olut on tehty Kuopiossa RPS Brewingillä.
