Copenhagen 18/10 2025. 33 cl bottle from Din Købmand, Lupintorvet, Bøtø. Some dancing faceless figures on the black and white label.
Pours clear amber with a mid-sized white head, Stable. Settles as as a thin but unbroken layer of foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of sour grains. Caramel and toffee. Hints of brown sugar. Sour grains and a whiff of citrus,
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, kind of flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit, Finish is semi-dry.
Easy to drink, sweetish ale.
