Copenhagen 9/112019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Gymnasievej, Køge. Drawing of a mouth with very big red lips preoccupied with biting the lower lip.
Pours unclear - almost murky - golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin but lumpy layer for foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, quite sweet with light citric notes. Bruised tropical fruits, stuffy herbal odor of old refrigerator, caramel sweetness. Strong notes of Grape fruit and Citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively texture.
Flavor is fairly sweet followed and balanced by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is mainly bitter. Lingers for a while. Dry finish.
Good intensity for a Session IPA. A bit weird sweetness in the nose but a reasonable bitter kick.
