Birrificio La Monna "Centomilalire"
6€ / .5 L "alla spina" @ Aeternum Beer Shop Roma on 29 November 2022
Notes: Labeled as a "landbier". It's unfiltered, and its hazy straw gold body is capped by a full head of bright white foam. The head retention is excellent and it leaves full sheets of lace behind as it goes. The aroma is grainy, bready, grassy, earthy, woody and lightly floral with some lager yeast sulphur as well. If I had to guess at the hops I'd say they're all German: Tettnanger, Hallertau Hersbrucker, and Hallertau Mittelfruh. The flavor follows the aroma with some added herbal character and a strong bitterness that leads to a dry finish with woody, earthy, and bitter noes lingering. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp with a seemingly natural, fine-bubbled moderate to median carbonation. It's well-brewed and nicely balanced across the board.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
