Poured from 473mL can into a mason jar at the Wildcat Cafe in Yellowknife. Canned 5/27/25.
Appearance: light golden hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: a light citrusy hop aroma with a somewhat dry underlying malt. Not bad.
Taste: lightly sweet malt with a little orange peel and tropical character and a kind of dry herbal quality as well. Light, but nice.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: pretty decent for a 4.2% session hazy pale ale. Very drinkable and though light in flavor, good for the strength.

I had this beer from a large aluminum can while on a business trip in Edmonton. It pours a hazy gold color with a firm white head. There is considerable haze, but it's not quite milky in appearance. The aroma is simple and direct...light malt and herbal hops. The taste has a little grain, and a clean bitter hop center. It's fairly full in body, and proportional with the style. Overall, it's not bad, but it it could be a lot more.
