Pours a nice warm honey brown with one finger of caramel-colored head that leaves some spotty lace as it recedes.
Smells of honeyed biscuits, fresh brown bread, roasted nuts, faint smoke and gentle earthy hops.
Tastes of more drizzled baked goods, nutty caramel malt, smoky ash and mild hoppy bitters.
Feels soft and smooth. Medium bodied with laid-back carbonation. Finishes a bit chewy.
Verdict: Recommended. A nice way to start off another cold week.
