Belmont Brew House

this spot used to be twisted district brewery, and these guys have been running a really solid taphouse type operation out of it for awhile now, nearly 50 handles, always rotating, crafty even nerdy level beer quality in here, and its run by some of the nicest people in the game, the kind of place you root for to succeed in such a challenging market. the old operation left their brewing equipment, so its always been part of the plan to make their own from what i gather. but its taken some time to get it up and running, but they finally dropped their first beer, an unfiltered pale lager, and its pretty solid. i think their production will be limited and that it will be guest beers still as the majority of handles, but they plan to have a few house brews in the mix as well now, which is awesome. the space is open and clean, feels new, patio out back, long bar, lots of seating options and places to post up, beer hall vibes, somewhat minimal, tanks behind the bar, a kitchen in the back doing pizzas and the like, but they also elevate from time to time with periodic beer dinners that bring the food up a few notches from what i have seen, will attend one soon! the folks here are wonderful people, so that makes it a fun visit all the time, and they keep a super relevant beer list. i have not yet eaten here but will. happy they have the brewing side up and running now, and reckon they are a great addition to the already strong garden city beer scene, fun spot worth checking out! good selection, but not of their own beer just yet, only one for now, looking forward to whats next...
