Misty Valley Reclaimed Rye amber on tap in Atlanta. Special release. 5.5% ABV
This is the regular version with the addition of Misty Valley coffee.
A great brown ale with perfectly balanced contributions from barrel aging, coffee, and spicy rye.
Neither bold nor challenging. The mild but pleasing aroma only hints at the spectacularly good flavor. Best American brown ale ever?

Appearance: Hazy brown, with good lacing.
Aroma: Coffee forward. I'm no coffee connoisseur but I could describe it as earthy, roast, and a hint of fruit. Oak and rye are present, but behind the coffee.
Flavor: Hints of blueberry within the coffee, oak is more pronounced on the palate than the nose, and there's a nice dry, rye, finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, rye dries out the finish and leaves you wanting another sip.
Overall: Great choice in coffee, and stoked this one made it out of Athens for me to try.
