Nice little Porter here. Don't get a lot of coconut out of this per se but more chocolate. It's very smooth and easy drinking and something I could definitely have more than one of in a sitting. Was hoping for a little bit richer consistency but overall this is still a nice drinking beer and one that I do enjoy...

Things change over time. People change over time. And even the environment changes over time. And what the Raul man is trying to get at is, is that his palate also has changed over time. A certain number of moons ago, I think I would have been into this beer a lot more. But as things currently stand, I think I’m more and more distancing myself from sweetness. Ten years ago, I probably could have had a piece of cake with this. But now, no sir. This offering is more than enough on its own. Betty Crocker beers stand down. Raul says no thanks.

Pours deep dark coffee color with fading khaki head in draught. Malty notes of dark chocolate and milk coffee. Outstanding porter!

Poured a black body with decent head that left lace patches. Nice aroma of milk chocolate and hints of coffee. Beer is light bodied and creamy that mainly tastes like chocolate and lactic java with a light, roasted finish, and very enjoyable.

What a great looking specimen of a porter. Rich, almost stout like pour with a tall, sandy brown head.
Chocolate, coconut and coffee are we'll balanced. Carbonation level and sweetness is right on target.
One of the best Porters I've had to date.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour with a one finger beige head. Chocolaty aroma. Taste brings out some of the dark malts, chocolate and the lactose giving it a chocolate milk vibe. Light lingering bitterness.
