Poured from a bottle at the Creature Third Anniversary Tour. Dark purple in color with minimal whitish purple head. Smell knocks you over with fresh tart blackberries with bourbon and some funk lurking in the background. Taste is completely different with molasses sweetness and some bourbon the prominent flavors. The blackberry is still there to add balance, but isn't near as noticeable. The bourbon is overly strong but creates an excellent flavor combination. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, tart, and effervescent. Overall, this is an interesting and very well executed barrel aged sour.

Bottle poured into snifter. This is a barrel aged brew with blackberries. Color was brownish, with subtle hint of berries but sour notes greet nose. Medium body; drinks like a barleywine. Sour notes are apparent. Overall a nice beer.
