Poured from a 16oz can into a tulip glass (~3 months old). Appearance is a fairly hazy and light colored yellow brown with one finger thick head (low retention). Smell is heavy on tart passion fruit, with some floral hops and cocoa nibs present.
Taste has a stronger cocoa nibs flavor that works surprisingly well with the tart fruit base. The lactose is subtle and adds good balance. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and creamy up front with a tart and effervescent finish, sourness is on point.
Overall this beer surprised me in how good it is. Although it is expected for Creature to not produce a very good Berliner, the cocoa nibs worked surprisingly well. Also, the dry hops were a nice complement to the tart base, just a delicious and complex beer. Hopefully they brew it again.

Can from jc1762. Thanks Jon. A passionfruit donut beer? And with cocoa nibs and lactose? Just why? Why? Why? Why? I guess this is the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back for me. Odd, sweet, wrong. Can we stop trying to make beer that tastes like tropical donuts and just make an honest and delicious beer?!? There is no way I can enjoyably tolerate more than a couple of sips of this. Gimmicks. Marketing. Sales. Being different for the sake of being different. Just because you can, does not mean you should.
