Son of a--! You write up a nice, heartfelt review of your pal kp's recommendation, a beer tasting of almond bark/nut clusters plus coffee beans and an appreciation of an imperial stout being big without veering towards too much sugar, too much booze or being insipidly flat/undercarbed, only to have it vanish in the digital ether... thanks for nothin', Dell.

Streams of dark brown with highlights on the pour. Forms dark in the glass with over a finger worth of peanut butter fudge colored crown.
The nose brings a coffee presence with vanilla cream tangling throughout.
The taste brings a caramelly coffee mixing with a creamy vanilla and touches of nuttiness.
Smooth, clean, a nice balance of astringency on the coffee.
Overall, it’s very enjoyable.

Really liked this beer! I had it at the brewery so that might have enhanced the experience but it was still a great one! It’s got a great coloring which is the best aspect.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
