The look reminded me a lot of Duvel. Similar looking pale golden body to the Belgian classic but but a bit more hazy, and with a similar looking foamy head. The smell was yeasty and hoppy, evoking several tropical fruits mashed into a pulp. The taste was one of the best melding of Belgian Pale Ale and IPA styles I have tasted. There were spicy and fruity esters produced by the yeast, giving off flavors of clove and banana. There were also hops that were providing citric and tropical fruit flavors. If one sip the Belgian side dominated while in another the IPA one did. The body was relatively light and there was a spicy aftertaste that lingered. This was a complex, full flavored, yet drinkable beer.

Appearance: Slightly hazy straw yellow. Fluffy white head with good retention.
Aroma: Light hops aromas - citrus, herbal, pine.
Flavor & Aftertaste: Citrus and spicy. Resinous. Moderate hops bitterness. Low malt sweetness.
Mouth feel: Light bodied. Medium carbonation. Dry to finish. Lingering bitterness stretches through finish.
Overall: Definitely has Allagash finger prints all over it. Light and dry. Made with Topaz & Comet hops. Hops flavors & aromas are mild. Not a hop bomb. Excellent, well crafted Belgian style IPA. Limited release, profits go to the Get Comfortable community impact campaign.
