Appearance: Clear, brilliant gold with fluffy white head; great retention. Medium rising bubbles. Beautiful clarity.
Aroma: Musky and perfume-like, some citrus, but really more floral. Very pleasant. No outstanding malt aromas.
Flavor & Aftertaste: Citrus flavors, slight peppery/spicy notes. Bitterness is moderate, but not mouth-coating. Bitterness lingers a bit into the aftertaste. Quite dry. Low malt flavor & sweetness.
Mouth-feel: Dry, medium length finish. Medium carbonation. Bitterness lingers a bit into the finish; but not mouth coating.
Overall: I really enjoy this single hop, rotating series from Creature. Like the way it showcases different hops. My personal favorite so far is Vic Secret. This one showcases Galaxy hops - which tends to be more floral/perfume-like; kind of dank. This is a great transitional beer for people who like hoppy pale ale and IPA to lager. It will scratch that hoppy itch; but is not too bitter.
