Super dissapointed given then the reps of these two breweries. Very perfumey non distinctive tropical IPA

A: This pours a lightly hazed yellow gold, not cloudy or thick-looking, with a soapy white head that gradually fades to a lasting ring, leaving wispy lacing.

A: Mainly tropical fruit with melon and a touch of orange.

T: More tropical fruit - mango and pineapple with melon, ripe oranges and some grapefruit creeping in late along with a touch of dank earth.

M: Soft texture, light carb, medium body. Sneaky ABV, not that 8% is high, but I’d have guessed this to be lower. Finishes just mildly bitter with grapefruit winning out over the tropics as it fades.

O: Goes down way too easy. It’s juicy but balanced with enough grassy and piney hops to keep the mouth happy and alert, so after a couple or three you’re gonna wonder why you’re feeling so good. I’d totally buy this one again, nicely done and very tasty.

16 ounce can - $5.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

ON: 05/04/20.

Appearance: Served up a hazy, light orange-gold body with an altogether lovely-looking, frothy, white head.

Smell: Spicy, herbal-tinged and resiny, but, mainly, it's tropical and fruity with today's prototypical rustic, creamy nature and crackling graininess, be it from a combination of unmalted wheat, oats or barley.

Taste: Creamy, rustic, contemporary grain bill of raw grains. Passion fruit, spicy mango hunks, steely gooseberry and snippets of curt pith. Medium-high bitterness, decent acidity. Drying, creamy, heated and bitterish in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Slightly creamy mouthfeel.

Overall: Hey, it's an amped-up modern IPA.
