Strong grape flavors. Fairly tart. I rather like that it’s quite different and a high ABV. Proceeds go to a good cause

Appearance: Mostly clear, pale gold. Produces a nice fluffy white head with moderate retention. Fast rising carbonation.

Aroma: Green fruit. Floral notes.

Taste: Mild tartness. Restrained bitterness. Very dry

Mouth-Feel: Light bodied. Finish is short, tart and dry. Moderate to high carbonation.

Overall: This beer is very light bodied, tart and refreshing. Aroma of green, ripe fruit and floral notes. It very dry. Brewer added Sauvignon Blanc grape juice, which seems to match up well with the style. I have not been a big fan of this style. I don't drink Creature Comforts Athena very much, even though that is very popular. This one; however, I really liked. It's light and has the right amount of tartness - not puckering or sour. It's an expensive beer though!

A new iteration (or possibly an entirely new beer- but apparently one with the same name was brewed back in 2018) of their wheat beer for charity- 100% of profits go to the Get Artistic Fund. This one is a strong Berliner Weiss with Sauvignon Blanc grape juice added. I have a feeling this might be a love it ot hate it beer- the grape is very noticeable, and it's got a bit of the Sauvignon Blanc cat piss note to it as well as a surprising amount of bitterness. I like it- it's a bit funky, interesting, and the sour, funk, bitter are well balanced. Definitely different. I was a bit surprised at the abv, though- I had popped it after mowing the lawn looking for a quencher- not exactly that kind of beer!
