16 fl oz pull-tab can nabbed for me by my friend Zed - thanks!
Berliner Weisse with "Apricot, Pineapple, Orange, and Lime." 4.5% ABV.
Lactic acidity and lemony twang abound in this one. I don't taste much pineapple, which I consider a good thing. More lemony than lime-forward in terms of its citrus. The orange isn't particularly vivid or expressive. I do get the apricot, but this beer's fruity flavours are lacking in terms of depth overall. Balanced and enjoyable, but not very fruity or very sour for a Berliner weisse. Maltwise, I get neutral wheat and 2 row malted barley.
Smooth, wet, fairly refreshing, well-carbonated, medium-bodied, but a bit too thick for the intended style. Not boozy, astringent, rough, scratchy, or otherwise problematic.
Drinkable and likable, but not a top tier fruited Berliner weisse. I can't shake the feeling they tried to do too much...if they just stuck to one fruit and executed it well it'd be a better brew. The fruits aren't landing as well as they need to to really elevate this beer.

12/06/20 16 fl oz pull-tab can:
Mellow acidity alongside tropical fruits tempered by bacterial sourness.
High B- / WORTHY
***
12/07/20 can into a dimpled mug:
Quite refreshing, if a bit fuller and heavier on the palate than the most refreshing Berliner weisse style beers I've had. The fruit flavours aren't particularly vivid or deep, but what little I do pick up on tastes authentic enough (not the artificiality of something like canned fruit puree or extract).
It's stupidly drinkable, and would make for a nice hot weather quencher, but I can't say it's a top tier expression of the style even if it is a very enjoyable and easy to like one. Any sour fan would dig this, but I want more fruity flavour than this is providing.
