L: Pours a murky dark purple pink with a medium white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Lots jammy blackberry comes first, followed a darker more tart black currant, lots of jammy fruit.
T: Tart and an almost slight vinegar of jammy blackberry and black jammy, more tart than sour.
F: Very low carbonation, could be a touch stronger.
O: Not bad but the carbonation is not what I like for the style.

Tasty. Not too fruity, but definite blackberry and currant presence. Almost purple, cloudy. Dry finish, light, crisp, easy drinking.

Appearance - The beer was purple with a light purple head.
Smell - The nose captured currants very well. Tartness was evident.
Taste - The initial taste was loaded with blueberry, but with the tartness of currant. Blueberry skin was noted and perhaps a touch of vanilla. There was also lemon in the finish with the dry notes.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation swept the sweetness leaving a dry and tart finish.
Overall - This could be my favorite Athena Paradiso variant.
