16 ounce can - $5.00 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
On: 07/31/23.
Appearance: Pours a hazy, dingy, darkened gold body with a goodly-sized, white, foamy head. Slight, sticky lacing.
Smell: Aromatic tropical, citrusy, berry-laden fruitiness amid the sugar-sprinkled, creamy raw grain gruel with lesser, lighter alcoholic, dank notes.
Taste: Creamy yet rustic with a coarse, raw graininess bolstered by a big powdered sugar sweetness. It's plenty fruity - passionfruit, grapefruit, tangerine, strawberry, gooseberry and muskmelon with a background dankness and floral bent. Given the sustained sweetness, it delivers quite a fruity, tangy-sour candy flavor which is sustained to the finish with lingering alcoholic heat and some resiny dankness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Slight creamy-yet-oily vibe to the mouthfeel.
Overall: Not bad.
