Appearance: Pours a translucent coffee color with a bubble show building a three finger head; good retention and speckles of lace
Smell: Chocolate, toasted brown bread and caramel overlayed by a moderately roasted character
Taste: Toasted brown bread and chocolate forward with a touch a caramel sweetness building; a roasted tone along with some earthy hops appear, through the middle, bringing along a rather dry finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: While Stouts have changed significantly over the last decade, it is nice to see a good, traditional Porter; reminds me of Fuller's
