16 ounce can - $5.00 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
ON: 03/28/24.
Appearance: Fairly pale, straw-toned body with an good-sized, foamy, white head. Copious amounts of lacing.
Smell: Sugar-frosted florals, lemon-lime citrus quality, orchard fruit, a little mangosteen, understated woodsy hints.
Taste: Scantly malty, a flash of white loaf bread given a generous dusting of confectioners sugar. Zesty citrus, peach nectar, a little white grape and mangosteen. Everso slightly woodsy, spicy, maybe a touch of hyssop. Relatively restrained medium degree of bitterness. Some showing of alcohol nearing the finish. Gentle fruitiness and sweetness in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Slight oily quality to the mouthfeel.
Overall: Fairly solid. Frankly, I wasn't sure what to expect with this one. It's certainly cleaner and has more levity than I'd anticipated, I guess I assumed it was to be a beefier, more hard-hitting offering to be served up during their anniversary festivities, as often breweries take a "let's go BIG" approach.
